Who doesn’t crave those perfect arches? And yet, when you look in the mirror, you wonder how you can get from your barely-there brow to the natural and fully-shaped brow you envy. Or, perhaps you’re the girl who can’t go more than a day without plucking or waxing before the insidious unibrow starts making an appearance.
Either way, know that you’re not alone. One of the most common requests we hear from ladies who set foot in Pink Dot Beauty Bar is, “I want perfectly-shaped, natural-looking eyebrows.” Once you’ve seen them, you can’t deny yourself those beautiful brows. Nothing accentuates the eyes quite so well as perfect eyebrows!
So, let’s talk about how to create stunning eyebrows with some all-natural, clean beauty products. You’ll need to start with brows that are already plucked or waxed, and then we’ll give them a gorgeous, defined shape. Grab your mirror and let’s get to it!
5 Steps to Create the Perfect Eyebrow
Tools you’ll need:
Products you’ll need:
- Maewood Precision Brow Pencil
- Brett Brow Powder
- BLINC Clear Brow Mousse
- Maewood Highlighter OR Ellis Faas Concealer
Step #1: Define Your Arch
You’ll need your brow pencil for this part. Make sure you choose a pencil color that is close to the undertone of your hair color, or close to color of your roots (providing you’re not due for a color touch-up!).
If you’re hair is blonde, choose the blonde eyebrow pencil. You get the idea!
Locate the highest point of your brow’s arch. Then, using your precision brow pencil, connect the peak to the tail of your eyebrow (the outermost point). Sweep your color on using short, careful strokes.
Step #2: Fill in Sparse Areas
If you, like most ladies, suffer from sparse areas in your eyebrow, you’ll want to fill those in without making yourself look like Oscar the Grouch, or one of those old ladies with the painted-on brow look. Here’s how.
Using your brow brush, sweep your brow powder (also in a tone similar to your hair color), from the highest point in your arch, toward the inner point of your eyebrow.
Step #3: Even Out the Color
Next, use the spool end of your eyebrow brush to evenly distribute the powder, and create a natural-looking eyebrow.
Step #4: Set Your Product
Just like all the rest of your makeup, you need to make sure your eyebrow makeup stays put for the whole day, come heat, sun, or sweat (eeeww!).
Use your BLINC eyebrow mousse to set your eyebrows.
Step #5: Create a Precision Look
This is the last step, but it’s an important one! Using an angled brush (or your finger, in a pinch), blend your highlighter or concealer right below the brow. This will create a precision look that will highlight your brow bone and make those beautiful natural-looking eyebrows stand out!
There you have it — a perfectly-shaped, natural eyebrow. Now, go have some sangria with the ladies and watch them drool over those eyebrows on fleek!
